About SVHC
SVHC is the abbreviation of "Substances of Very High Concern". The SVHC, which refer to substances that cause risks to human beings and the environment, have attracted great attention. According to Article 7.2 of REACH regulations, when the percentage composition of a substance in the SVHC list is more than 0.1% in the articles, and more than 1 ton/year/company every year of the substance enters the EU, the manufacturer or importer of the article must notify to ECHA.
According to the EU REACH regulations and the Waste Framework Directive, from January 5, 2021, if the concentration of SVHC substance in the articles which enter the EU exceeds 0.1%, the information must be notified to ECHA by SCIP and submitted to the SCIP database.
