CTT attended the 40th Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair

Recently, the 40th Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair sponsored by the HKTDC opened in Hong Kong convention and exhibition Centre. As the largest in Asia and the second  largest Toys & Games fair in the world, the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair has  attracted many toy enthusiasts. CTT was invited again to attend the exhibition, made intensive exchange with the travelling merchant at the spot and provided professional consulting service for the on-site customers.

After a year of weak market in 2012, Chinese toy exports has gradually  recovered in 2013. According to the Quarterly report of the world's toy selling giant Mattel Inc Hasbro Inc, and the hot sale in Christmas, the toy market of 2013 in USA and EU will not bad overall. As a new growing point, the exporting to newly-emerging nations In 2013 has grown rapidly, and also, the growth will maintain in 2014, along with the growth of economy . CTT's experts said, in the past year, the European Unions and other organizations have kept introducing new regulations focusing on toy safety and environment protection, among which the promulgated in July last year, known as "the strictest technical  regulations on toy safety in the world". Under the pressure of these new rules,measures on toy controlling has been implemented frequently, multiple barriers have been made on toy exports to Europe and recall situation has become increasingly serious, thus increase the cost and time of exporting of enterprises. On toy safety requirements, the new instruction increased a lot on mechanical physical, electric and  chemical properties and hygiene ect..

At present, with the consumers' increasing concern of the toy safety, as well as the tightening of the relevant ordinance, the toy merchant are facing more and more pressure.
