The latest determination method about Cr6+ and phthalates in RoHS

From: Date: 2017-04-14 Tits: 8883 Times

IEC62321 is a series of determination standards made by IEC to test the restricted substances in RoHS2.0. It was firstly published in 2008 by OJ, and successively dismantled or revised respectively in 2013 and 2015. In order to coordinate the revised Directive (EU) 2015/863, the IEC newly released the determination methods of Cr6+ and phthalates in 28 March 2017(see red font in table), and now the existing IEC62321 standards can be summarized as following:

The existing IEC62321  standards summary

Culture Notes:the European Union released the revised Directive (EU) 2015/863 to amending Annex II to Directive 2011/65/EU of RoHS2.0 in 4 June 2015. The directive adds the restriction of DEHP, BBP, DBP and DIBP to RoHS2.0, which shall apply to ordinary EEE from 22 July 2019 and to medicale quipment and monitoring equipment from 22 July 2021.

Warm prompt: the enterprises which have related products on sale should pay attention to the latest standards, especially to the control of phthalates, and had better to be prepared in advance.
